Christmas Tree Festival at St Chad's

Sat, 9th Dec 2017 to Sat, 16th Dec 2017

The St Chad's Christmas Tree returns again for 2017, illuminating the famous circular nave. 40 trees follow the unique circular shape of the church by the windows and above in the gallery for a spectacular display. Each tree is sponsored by a business or charity and will remain in place for all the Christmas services and concerts through to the New Year and Epiphany.

Many local schools, colleges and musical groups perform festive music and seasonal refreshments are served by the Friends of St Chad's. Read the full diary of activities here.

St Chad's Church, Shrewsbury occupies a prominent position in the county town of Shropshire. The current church building was built in 1792, and with its distinctive round shape and high tower it is a well-known landmark in the town.
