The Shropshire Regimental Museum displays the combined collections of the major military units associated with the county from the 18th century to the present day. The Museum houses a spectacular collection of uniform, regimental silverware, medals, weapons, military equipment and personal items that tell the story of the men who served in the regiments.

Sunday 10 September - The Shropshire Regimental Museum will be offering Free Entrance on the Sunday only. Laura's Tower on the castle mound will also be opened for the first and only time this year to give visitors the opportunity to look inside the tower and see its splendid domed ceiling.

Weapons, medals and uniforms from the 18th century to the present day sit within the ancient, red sandstone walls, which tower above the town. Hunt down some regimental history at the Shropshire Regimental Museum in Shrewsbury Castle.
