This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Passchendaele and to commemerate this the Shropshire ABF, Old Market Hall, and XI Signal and WM Brigade present a special screening of Joyeux Noel.

Guests are encouraged to arrive 1830hrs for a glass of Prosecco and WW1 themed canapés.

Lt Col Richard Jones and Sargent Major Raymond Miller will give a presentation explaining the Passchendaele Campaign and giving accounts from troops who served in the Campaign prior to the film screening at 2000hrs.

Military guests are invited to wear mess kit and vivilian guests are welcome to wear either smart dress or casual.

All proceeds to support the Army Benevolent Fund.

Built in 1596, Shrewsbury's iconic Old Market Hall was lovingly restored and re-opened as a contemporary cinema and cafe bar in 2004. The intimate 81-seat cinema screens a diverse programme of independent film, classics, world cinema, documentaries, and popular releases.
