The Shropshire County Show, one of the oldest surviving agricultural shows in the country takes place again this year on Saturday 27th May. Whilst it will continue to represent agriculture at its very best in the county, it will be even more attractive to young people and families of all backgrounds.

The annual Shropshire County Agricultural Show attracts thousands of people from across the country to the West Mid Showground in Shrewsbury for a celebration of the rural community and to highlight the role it plays in our daily lives. The Shropshire County Show is a great opportunity to boast about the great things on offer in Shropshire and across the Midlands, from livestock to local businesses and the local produce.

Bring your dog and enter the Companion Dog show, entries taken on the day. Whilst you are in the Dogzone, enjoy the Whitchurch Dog display team Heelwork to Music and Firewalk.

The Greenhous West Mid Showground is situated in the heart of Shrewsbury, an historic market town on the banks of the River Severn. The town is easily accessible from the west via the M54 leading to the A5 and is situated off the B5067 Berwick Road.
