Shropshire Society of Architects Autumn Lecture Series: Patching & Weaving: City

Roger Stephenson is one of the most respected architects working in Manchester today. His practice has won over 40 national awards and was shortlisted for the Stirling Prize in 1998 for the Quay Bar, Castlefield and again in 2013 for Chetham’s. He is justly acclaimed for his meticulous approach to design and construction and the sensitivity with which he relates progressive new build to its context.

Admission will be £3 on the door and students will be free of charge.

Anyone who wishes to join SSA members and guests for supper at Carluccio's restaurant in the Square following the talks are very welcome to do so. It's a good opportunity to reflect on the content of the talk and have a chat with the speaker.
